Poem: “A Moment in Time”

admin POEM Leave a Comment

To capture a moment in time
How best to use my words
I ache with the need
Yet reality is never quite
like the words on a page
A petty likeness to the beauty:
Slender blades
quickly quickly
Uniform unique
Bending gently in the breezes
Cool morning
each one
Treasuring the gift
Knowing it can last
only a moment in
A perfect sphere
Moving, rippling, silver
Hanging breathlessly
Such exquisiteness
side by side
row by row
Life force in a single
slowly slowly
Evaporates with
the morning sun.
